book recommendations
I know we are past Holloween, but I am looking for scary books, 1-6, to add to my purchase order. Any rec's? The new Follett catalogue has a listing for scary books on its cover, and I'll check that, but any and all suggestions welcome. I am looking for good read alouds, and good vampire and ghost stuff. I don't much care for the movie monster collections. You know, like a true 2nd grade boy, I want REAL ghosts and aliens! Thanks guys .... suz

I would also like to know some really scarey books. I read aloud some mildly scarey books - The Dark Dark Room, The Green Ribbon - but my kids want really scarey stuff. I buy Goosebumps at yard sales and they are always checked out.
